The Islamic Studies team organised a special Melbourne Aquarium excursion for our Foundation students as part of our “Allah (SWT) is the Creator” inquiry unit, offering them the chance to discover the marvels of the ocean first-hand.
Our youngest Primary learners were wide-eyed with curiosity as they wandered through the underwater tunnels and exhibits, discovering the incredible variety of Allah’s (SWT) creation beneath the sea. From graceful stingrays gliding overhead to vibrant coral reefs teeming with colourful fish and adorable seahorses, every moment inspired awe and wonder.
A highlight of the day was visiting the penguin habitat, where our Foundation students watched the playful Gentoo and King penguins waddling on the ice and gracefully diving into the water. Their charming antics brought many smiles and reminded students that Allah (SWT) has created every creature with unique features perfectly suited to its environment.
This special experience encouraged our students to reflect on the beauty, balance, and purpose found in the natural world, deepening their understanding that Allah (SWT) is the Creator and Provider of all living things.
