SEQTA Engage (SEQTA for parents) is a very useful and user-friendly tool that allows you to stay connected with your child’s learning. Through SEQTA Engage, you can:

• View your child’s timetable
• Contact their teachers directly via email
• Access school reports and NAPLAN results
• And much more

How to Access SEQTA Engage:
Step-by-step instructions (with photos below):

1. Visit our school website
2. Click the “Parents” drop-down menu (top right corner)
3. Select SEQTA
4. Sign in using your personal email address
5. You’ll be welcomed with the SEQTA Engage homepage
6. Use the menu on the left to explore various features

A Guide to the Main Tabs on the Left Menu:

• Courses: Shows your child’s current and past subjects (organised by year level). If you have more than one child, select their name to view their specific courses.
• Documents: Access important school documents, including CANVAS information and training links.
• Notices: Teachers and school staff may share updates here – we recommend checking this section regularly.
• Reports: Find end-of-semester and NAPLAN reports here. Click on your child’s name, then select the report you’d like to view.
• Timetable: View your child’s daily timetable, including class names, teachers, and room numbers. Use the drop-down at the top to switch between children.

How to Email Your Child’s Teacher:

1. Go to the Timetable tab
2. Click on the relevant subject
3. A subject pop-up will appear
4. Click the envelope icon
5. A new email window will open – the teacher’s email will appear in the BCC field
6. Cut and paste the email into the To field if needed, write your message, and send as usual

Logging Out:
When you’re done, we recommend logging out by clicking the door icon with a red arrow at the bottom of the left-hand menu.

You can also download the SEQTA Engage app on your smartphone for quick and easy access on the go.
